Land Law is a boutique firm in Marin County that specializes in all matters that touch and concern real estate. Our practice areas are consciously curated to provide our clients with the necessary expertise for all land use and real estate related matters. We are passionate about the built environment and understand the transactional side of real estate law to facilitate projects coming to life. We also offer writ and civil litigation services so that we may strategically counsel clients from conceptual project inception through to construction and any litigation that may arise throughout that process.
Chris Skelton’s practice focuses on land use, real estate, and civil litigation. He is skilled at processing land use entitlements by assisting property owners, developers, and institutions with due diligence, zoning analysis, strategy, and project advocacy. Chris’s experience with the Subdivision Map Act, Mitigation Fee Act, California Environmental Quality Act, and the Brown Act enables him to successfully represent his clients in the land use and entitlement arena. His civil litigation encompasses the real estate spectrum: civil writs, real property related TRO's, complex real estate and boundary contests, and construction related disputes.
